TMC, a division of C.H. Robinson, offers Managed TMS® and a unique combination of global transportation management system (TMS) software, logistics process management, and consulting services. Unlike global TMS providers and traditional third party logistic providers (3PLs) that manage outsource transportation functions, TMC blends the benefits of both traditional TMS technology and 3PL outsourcing, works collaboratively with customers to share knowledge and risk, and is backed by C.H. Robinson, one of the world’s largest 3PLs.
Since 1999, TMC has operated as a separate division of C.H. Robinson and has five Global Control Tower® locations in Chicago (HQ), Amsterdam, Mumbai, Sao Paulo, and Shanghai. TMC pioneered a category of service that combines TMS technology with logistics process management and consulting services and has grown into a global business, managing over 6.7M shipments and $3.4B in freight under management for some of the largest brands in the world.
